Catchr Chrome Extension
Terms of Service
By installing or using the Catchr Chrome extension, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.
What Catchr is
Catchr is a free Chrome extension that helps job seekers track job listings and use AI tools to score fit, tailor resumes, and prepare for interviews. It is an independent project, unaffiliated with Google, LinkedIn, or any job board.
Use at your own risk
Catchr is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees that the extension will work correctly, be available at all times, or produce accurate results. Your use of Catchr is entirely at your own risk.
AI-generated content
Catchr uses the Google Gemini API to generate fit scores, resume rewrites, and interview prep documents. AI can make mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it, sharing it, or submitting it to any employer. Catchr makes no representation that AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.
No employment guarantee
Catchr does not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, offers, or any employment outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Catchr and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the extension, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, hiring decisions, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Third-party services
Catchr connects to Google APIs and the Google Gemini API. Your use of those services is governed by Google's Terms of Service. Catchr has no control over and accepts no responsibility for third-party services.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own Gemini API key, including any costs, billing, or rate limits incurred on your Google Cloud account as a result of using the extension.
- You are responsible for the content of your resume and any documents submitted to employers.
- You agree not to use Catchr for any unlawful purpose.
Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Catchr after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
